These Terms & Conditions explain how counselling sessions are arranged, delivered and managed at Space2B. They help ensure clarity, safety and transparency for both of us.

By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

  1. About Space2B Counselling

Space2B is run by Jenette‑Marie, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and BACP member. I offer counselling for adults, young people and children, delivered , telephone, online or through Walk & Talk Therapy (where appropriate).

  • There are safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable adult
  • You disclose information about certain criminal activities
  • I am legally required to share information
  • I discuss my work in professional supervision (your identity is protected)

I will always aim to talk with you first before sharing information, unless doing so increases risk.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: full session fee is payable
  • Non‑attendance: full fee is payable

If I need to cancel, I will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time.

  1. Online Counselling

Online sessions require:

  • A private, safe space
  • A stable internet connection
  • Use of a secure device

If connection issues occur, we will attempt to reconnect or continue by phone. If technical problems prevent the session from happening, we will rearrange at no extra cost.

  • Confidentiality in public spaces
  • What to do if we meet someone we know
  • Safety and comfort

  1. Young People & Children

For clients under 18:

  • A parent/carer must give consent
  • Confidentiality is still respected
  • Safeguarding concerns will be shared appropriately
  • Parents/carers do not attend sessions unless agreed
  1. Record Keeping

I keep brief session notes, stored securely and confidentially.

Retention periods:

Records are then securely destroyed.
